Job Details Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric (RT PEDS) Location: Saint Louis, Missouri Shift: Night, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Current Missouri state license, Registered Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care, BLS and ACLS certifications, Graduate from an accredited college program in respiratory care, 1+ years of experience in a hospital setting Preferred Qualifications: Prior adult intensive care and emergency department experience, Advanced certifications such as Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) from NBRC, Bachelors degree preferred Additional Information: Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physicians' orders. Determines effectiveness of therapy, provides ventilator support during resuscitation, and maintains life support equipment. Must demonstrate critical thinking skills, flexibility, and appropriate clinical judgment.
