Travel Pediatric Medical Floor RN - $2,560 per week

Pediatric Medical Floor RN (Registered Nurse) position at a healthcare organization within a pediatric specialty unit, starting 01/05/2027 for a 14‑week assignment (through 04/10/2027). This assignment involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with complex medical needs in a pediatric environment. The role requires flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a dynamic pediatric medical unit.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs, including trach/vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, chest tubes, JP drains, central lines, TPN/Lipids, CPM/Ortho/Halo traction, colostomy, ileostomy, nephrostomy care, TBI, neuro assessments, seizure management, solid organ transplant patients (liver/kidney), trauma, and rehabilitation patients.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• Minimum of 2 years pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility
• Experience with trach/vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, chest tubes, JP drains, central lines, TPN/Lipids, CPM/Ortho/Halo traction, colostomy, ileostomy, nephrostomy care, TBI, neuro assessments, seizure management, solid organ transplant patients (liver/kidney), trauma, and rehabilitation patients
• Must comply with Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Policy
• Floats are not required for this assignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
• Previous travel experience (preferred)

Skills

Routine use of equipment such as Medfusion and Baxter Sigma intravenous pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, CADD PCA pumps, and ventilators; support of respiratory and anesthesia services as needed.

Schedule

• 12‑hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required to work 10 weekends per 8‑week scheduling block (Friday through Sunday)
