Travel Pediatric Floor RN - $2,200 per week

Travel nursing assignment in Bismarck, North Dakota for a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatric Med Surg.

About the Role

This position involves working in a dedicated pediatric unit with a variety of patient cases, including stable medical/surgical pediatrics, ICU overflow, and specialized care for infants and children. The role requires flexibility to float to related units if needed, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

The unit is a close-knit team with a zoo-themed environment, including themed rooms and interactive play areas. The facility provides scrubs in any color. Orientation includes two 12-hour shifts. The unit is a Level 2 trauma setting, with a pediatrician available 24/7 and in-house respiratory therapy staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a medical/surgical unit.
• Float to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and newborn nursery as census fluctuates.
• May be utilized for 1:1 patient sitting.
• Titrate drips such as Tylenol, Keppra, and Insulin (consideration for candidates without insulin experience).

Requirements

• BLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric medical/surgical nursing experience
• BSN required (North Dakota state requirement)
• Licenses must be submitted at time of application

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and neonatal care
• Pediatric or ICU experience

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 09/07/2026
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, rotating based on seniority and unit needs
