Job Details
Position Description: The RN will work in the pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit, supporting children with complex heart conditions that require intensive care. This role involves working in collaboration with the healthcare team to promote patient health through the delivery of professional nursing care aligned with evidence-based standards and hospital goals. The position may require floating to NICU and PICU units.
Requirements
Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date Associate or bachelors degree in nursing 2 years experience as an RN in pediatric CVICU Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association Experience at a hospital with a Level III or IV NICU strongly preferred Experience floating to NICU and PICU
Schedule
Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with options for day or night shifts (7a 7p or 7p 7a).
Additional Information
This assignment may involve floating between four hospital campuses: Main, Arrowhead, Avondale, and East Valley. Only RTO discussed in the interview will be pre-approved. Flu vaccination is required from October through April, and COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Staff will need to sign declination and masking protocols if not vaccinated. The assignment duration is from 09/28/2026 to 03/28/2027, with a possibility of working in a highly specialized pediatric hospital environment providing advanced cardiac care.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
