Travel PCU/Stepdown RN - $2,258 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take a 13-week travel assignment in Olathe, Kansas, starting on October 11, 2026. This position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide progressive care in a PCU/Stepdown unit
• Manage patients requiring BiPAP, chest tubes, and PICC lines
• Draw labs independently
• Operate without a vascular access team
• Call consults and conduct codes independently
• Care for open-heart patients on Day 2 or Day 3 with pacer wires
• Float to ICU and all inpatient units (Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED) based on prior experience

Requirements

• 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience
• Strong critical thinking skills
• KS RN or Compact RN License
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during an assignment.
