Travel PCU / Stepdown RN - $1,827 per week

NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Birmingham, AL.

About the role

We are looking for a travel nurse RN with stepdown experience, including working with long-term ventilator weans. This position requires 3x12 night shifts with an every-other-weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to stepdown/PCU patients, including those requiring long-term ventilator weaning.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Ventilator experience is required.

Pay

$1,585.64 – $1,865.46 per week (subject to confirmation). Pay package includes tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.
