Travel PCU RN - Telemetry - $1,876 per week

About the role

Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit. Discipline: RN. Start date: 10/26/2026. Duration: 13‑week contract. Hours: 36 hours per week (three 12‑hour night shifts). Employment type: travel nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients recovering from surgical trauma.
• Administer medications and oversee patient telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.
• Support and educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures.
• Respond to changes in patient status with appropriate interventions.
• Document all patient care activities using Epic EMR.

Requirements

• 2+ years of nursing experience, with a focus on trauma or progressive care units.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR.
• Ability to manage dysrhythmias and care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
