Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a PCU/Stepdown RN for a 15-week travel assignment in Kearney, Nebraska, starting September 28, 2026.

About the Role

This position involves 12-hour day shifts (0630-1830) with a total of 36 hours per week. Night shifts (1830-0630) may also be available. The assignment includes working every other weekend and a minimum of 2 holidays if the contract period overlaps with them. Floating to MedSurg or ICU with PCU acuity patients may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Titrate drips and read/interpret tele monitor strips
  • Troubleshoot high flow RT equipment
  • Manage arterial lines
  • Pass a 90% open-book exam on skills during orientation
  • Focus on patient experience scores, responsiveness, hospital environment, and communication about medications
  • Demonstrate flexibility, willingness to learn, and ability to take feedback
  • Collaborate as a team player with strong communication skills

Requirements

  • Active RN license (License to Submit: Yes)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
  • Competency in arterial lines
  • Familiarity with serving Hispanic and Somalian populations is advantageous
