About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Critical Care Unit, where you will care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region. The ideal candidate will have Epic experience and be adept in handling cases involving respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Critical Care Unit.
- Administer medications and manage advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per titration protocols.
- Maintain infection prevention protocols and assist in respiratory care (HFNC, BiPap/Cpap).
- Manage an average of 3 high acuity patients effectively, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active RN license and ACLS certification.
- Epic experience is required.
- Experience in a Progressive Critical Care Unit or ICU in a community hospital setting preferred.
- Competent in the care of medical and surgical populations.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This position is for the 7A - 7:30P shift.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
