Travel PCU RN - $2,123 per week
About the Role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is a 12-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Candidates with oncology experience are preferred. The unit requires staff to complete the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course to administer vesicant chemotherapy. After completing a unit-based oncology course and orientation, staff may administer non-vesicant chemotherapy. Travel nurses without ONS certification or OCN credentials will not be assigned patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Complete the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course to administer vesicant chemotherapy (required).
- Administer non-vesicant chemotherapy after completing unit-based oncology training and orientation.
Requirements
- RN license.
- Experience in a PCU or similar unit.
- Oncology experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course or OCN certification for chemotherapy patient assignments.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) and includes a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
