About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Administer vesicant chemotherapy after completing the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course or being OCN certified.
- Administer non-vesicant chemotherapy after completing a unit-based oncology course and unit orientation.
- Work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit preferred.
- Some oncology experience beneficial.
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course completion or OCN certification for administering vesicant chemotherapy.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
