Travel PCU RN - $2,067 per week

About the role

Travel nursing position for a Registered Nurse in a mixed unit encompassing Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Med-Surg Telemetry, and Med-Surg. The RN will care for adult patients with diverse diagnoses including CHF, COPD, and gastrointestinal issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage telemetry patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Provide care for patients post-bariatric and hepatobiliary surgeries
• Perform wound care and manage wound vacs
• Manage feeding tubes and conduct insulin drip titrations
• Respond to emergency situations by interpreting dysrhythmias

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory
• Willing to float within service line and potentially between multiple facilities

Schedule

• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15)
• Every other weekend, specifically Friday and Saturday evenings
