Travel PCU RN - $2,067 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. This role involves caring for patients who are critically ill but stable enough to leave the ICU, delivering intermediate-level critical care, and supporting patients in transition from ICU to med-surg.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients with high acuity needs
• Interpret and respond to cardiac telemetry and vital signs
• Administer medications, manage IV drips, and maintain care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, effective treatment
• Document interventions and patient progress accurately and promptly

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry experience
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and critical thinking skills
• Experience with ventilator and drip management preferred

Schedule

• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights (19:00:00–07:00:00)

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
