About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team, providing exceptional care to patients with cardiac conditions. This role requires experience in telemetry and cardiac care, involving the administration of titratable medications and monitoring of critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients with conditions such as CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, and more.
• Performing bedside cardioversions and managing IV medication titrations.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
• Utilizing advanced equipment like Zoll and Baxter pumps, and maintaining meticulous electronic records via Cerner.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit.
• Telemetry experience with titratable cardiac IV medications.
• Preferred: experience with prostacyclins and relief charge experience.
