Travel PCU RN - $1,900 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Winston Salem, North Carolina. This assignment lasts 13.14 weeks and is scheduled to start on October 26, 2026. Responsibilities

• Charting system: Epic (preferred)
• Required to float to like units
• Special equipment: chest tubes, drips (dopamine, cardizem, heparin), vents, trachs, BIPAP/CPAP
• Work with admission/discharge nurse, assistant nurse manager, vascular access team, RRT, code team, and behavioral health team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Skills: IV start, vents, telemetry, CPAP/BiPAP, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certification: NIHSS
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• NC or compact license (pending OK for submittal)
• Accepts first‑time travelers
• Travel pairs allowed (must be on different units and disclosed)
• Patient care experience with COPD, pneumonia, respiratory distress, COVID‑19, flu, and pulmonary embolism
