Travel PCU RN - $1,908 per week

About the role

Travel nursing assignment for an RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Start date: 10/26/2026. Contract length: 13‑week (also referenced as 16 weeks). Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an ICU stepdown environment.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data; manage and titrate vasoactive drips.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy protocols.
• Perform conscious sedation and manage peripheral and central lines.
• Utilize rapid response protocols and participate in multidisciplinary team rounds.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
• Active RN license (NC or Compact license accepted).
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Strong experience with arterial lines, telemonitoring, and management of dysrhythmias.
