Travel PCU Registered Nurse - Make $2709.24 to $2902.16 weekly

About the role

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel PCU Registered Nurse in Roanoke, VA. This position is available for 13 weeks and operates on a 4x12-hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15).

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a telemetry unit, intensive care unit (ICU), intermediate care floor (IMC), step-down unit (SDU), or post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Manage central and peripheral lines.
• Administer blood products and oxygen.
• Perform non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions.
• Work with rapid response and code teams.
• Manage cardiac drips without titration.
• Use nasal cannulas and perform oxygen administration.
• Implement isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown.
• Knowledge of telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Ability to manage and care for patients requiring various levels of care.
• Proficiency in using rapid response and code teams.
• Experience with blood product administration and central/peripheral line care.
• Skills in non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $2,709.24 to $2,902.16 weekly.
