About the role
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel PCU Registered Nurse in Roanoke, VA.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a telemetry setting
- Manage and interpret dysrhythmias
- Use rapid response/code teams
- Administer blood products
- Care for central and peripheral lines
- Manage cardiac drips without titration
- Administer nasal cannulas and oxygen
- Perform non-invasive airway management
- Implement isolation precautions and PPE
Requirements
- At least 1 year of nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- NICHSS certification
Qualifications
- Experience with telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
- Knowledge of interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with rapid response and code teams
- Skills in blood product administration and line care
- Experience with central and peripheral line care
- Experience managing cardiac drips without titration
- Experience with nasal cannulas and oxygen administration
- Experience with non-invasive airway management
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
