About the role

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel PCU Registered Nurse in Roanoke, VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a telemetry unit, PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown unit.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Manage central and peripheral lines.
• Administer blood products.
• Use rapid response/code teams.
• Perform non-invasive airway management.
• Implement isolation precautions and PPE.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.

Qualifications

• Experience with telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown.
• Knowledge of interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Skills in managing dysrhythmias, using rapid response/Code teams, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, managing cardiac drips, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPE.

$1,952.00 to $2,133.28 weekly.

Schedule

3x12-Hour shifts: 06:45 - 19:15.
