Responsibilities
- Assist pathologists in the examination and analysis of specimens
- Prepare slides and perform microscopic examinations
- Document findings and communicate results to patients and referring physicians
- May assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence related to patient cases
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a relevant field
- Certification as a Pathologists' Assistant
