Travel PACU Registered Nurse assignment in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Start date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 12‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities

• Assist in recovering patients from anesthesia in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patients as they wake from surgery until discharge to outpatient or transfer to an inpatient floor.
• Provide care for post‑operative patients recovering from general, regional, and local anesthesia.
• Treat both inpatients and outpatients according to their individual needs.
• Administer diligent care through continuous monitoring, assessment, intervention, and reassessment.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care PACU setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
