About the role

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse position is located in Burlington, Vermont. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This assignment is for 13-16 weeks, with an ASAM (American Society of Anesthesiologists) start date of 07/27/2026. The role involves working in a unit that prepares and recovers patients for procedural areas such as the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology, with a focus on adult and pediatric patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and recover patients for procedural areas such as the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology
• Work with adult and pediatric patient populations
• Focus on post-anesthesia care
• Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years
• Bring prior travel experience preferred

• Recent trauma 1 experience at large (500+ beds), teaching facilities

• Must have a valid license on the first day

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
