Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,285 per week

About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, at a facility in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the care of patients recovering from anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in PACU
• Current BLS certification (certifications vary by location)
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
• Valid driver's license
• Background check and drug screen required

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in area of specialty listed on job
• Current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS)
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
• Valid Driver's License
• Background and drug screen

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Effective teamwork and collaboration
• Proficient in medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
