Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,429 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Rochester, New York. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week with 10‑hour shifts (days and nights) as a travel position.

Responsibilities

• Recover post‑operative adult patients in the PACU.
• Work as part of a team in a fast‑paced nursing environment with a wide variety of post‑op patients.
• Manage high‑volume, high‑acuity PACU cases in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Maintain positive attitudes and direct communication as the unit standard.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Active RN license (New York only).
• Minimum two (2) years of PACU experience.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.

Estimated pay package is based on the bill rate at time of posting; bill rates can change without notice. Exact pay may vary depending on guaranteed hours, travel distance, and traveler customizations. The package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
