ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts available from 8 AM - 6 PM, 9 AM - 7 PM, and possible 10 AM - 8 PM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the following areas: inpatient and outpatient PACU/Recovery Room, Surgery Center, and Anesthesia Clinic. The role includes both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery for a variety of surgical procedures excluding open heart surgeries, which go directly to ICU.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in PACU and Outpatient Recovery Rooms
• Monitor and assess patients post-surgery, ensuring recovery progress
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and manage patient needs as they recover
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required for inpatient and outpatient PACU and Surgery Center
• BLS certification required for the Anesthesia Clinic
