Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,108 per week

About the role

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions
• Work 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00
• Expected patient volume is 8 to 12 visits per day
• Average daily census is roughly 25 patients per day, split between 2.5 therapists
• May be assigned to an emergency team and required to remain onsite until the event passes or serve as part of the relief team
• First-time travelers accepted

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARCLA
• State License
• Experience in orthopedics and geriatrics

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of experience accepted
• New graduates not accepted

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of orthopedic and geriatric conditions

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
