About the role

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate an effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
  • Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and goals focused on patient progress.
  • Ensure accurate and timely medical record documentation in compliance with standards.
  • Participate in student programs, providing supervision and educational support.
  • Create individualized professional development plans and pursue continued education.
  • Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
  • CPR certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
