About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role entails managing therapy services, ensuring functional treatment programs are designed for effective patient return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

  • Congduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
  • Develop accurate treatment plans and goals focused on patient progress and discharge readiness.
  • Document all patient interactions in a clear, concise, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
  • Participate in the supervision and development of students within the clinic.
  • Engage in professional development and continuing education to meet strategic objectives.
  • Adhere to state practice laws and maintain licensure in good standing.
  • Understand and participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Active licensure to practice in the relevant state.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, utilizing a 3x8.0 shift schedule.
