Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $1,782 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 6-month contract position. This role involves evaluating assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and physician directives. As a physical therapist, you will ensure the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities while educating patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Congduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop treatment plans focused on their progress.
• Document medical records accurately and timely in compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies.
• Ensure that care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in the student program by providing mentorship and supervision to students.
• Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue continued education and growth opportunities.
• Adhere to state practice acts and regulatory compliance while maintaining licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback to improve service quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Commitment to uphold professional standards and codes of conduct.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule, with evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-ups occurring every 30 minutes.
