About the role
The Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring effective functional treatment programs, and serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Document medical records accurately and timely.
- Provide care under valid physician orders and insurance approval.
- Participate in the student program and offer a positive learning environment.
- Create an individualized professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
- Adhere to state practice act and maintain licensure in good standing.
- Support organizational performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school (required).
- 6 months - 1 year of outpatient clinical experience (required).
- CPR certification (required).
- 6 months duration of experience desired (highly desired).

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
