Job Description & Requirements

Outpatient Physical Therapist Assignment Duration: This is a 6-month contract position. Schedule: 5x8.0 shift available starting September 14th.

  • Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
  • Delegates and directs all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration.
  • Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers while maintaining compliance with safety and organizational standards.
  • Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
  • Utilizes clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
  • Documents medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participates in student programs by providing supervision and completing evaluations.
  • Actively pursues professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
  • Adheres to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintains professional licensure in good standing.
  • Engages with organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
  • 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
