Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Document clinical notes clearly, concisely, accurately, and in a timely manner, following state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
  • Participate in student programs and provide a positive learning environment.
  • Engage in professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
  • Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure.
  • Understand and implement organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
  • 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • 6 months of additional experience is highly desired.

Qualifications

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves ensuring effective design of functional treatment programs and promoting safe return to community activities. The Physical Therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers, while upholding compliance with professional standards and conduct.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
