Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $1,683 per week
About the role
The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role demands effective delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate a return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers while maintaining professional standards and compliance with the organizational Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on discharge goals.
- Document medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide safe patient handling and uphold patient and employee safety practices.
- Participate in student programs by providing supervision and evaluations.
- Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through education and self-study.
- Foster a positive learning environment for students and assist in their clinical growth.
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
