About the role
Medasource is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026 in Hood River, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications according to physician orders and hospital policies
- Provide medication therapy management services
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
Requirements
- Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Oregon
- Experience in inpatient pharmacy preferred
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding and sterile preparations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited pharmacy school
- Passing score on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX)
- Passing score on the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification exam (if required by state)
Skills
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Schedule
Shift: 8 hours, days
