American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient hand therapy clinic in Hillsboro, Oregon. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a day shift schedule.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Days, 4x10hrs (0730-1800) or 5x8s (0800-1630) options available
• Setting: Outpatient rehabilitation clinic specializing in hand therapy
• No floating required for this unit, though candidates may be asked to float to an affiliate hospital nearby
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Current OT or PT license required if applicable
• Certified Hand Therapist certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience required
• New graduates will not be considered
• BLS/ACLS certification through AHA required (traditional AHA course, RQI not accepted)
• Epic charting experience required for consideration
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required (charge RN references not accepted)
• Work history verification covering the last seven years required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction
• Requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed two weeks
• Former employees or previous travelers at this facility must have a completed reference from their prior supervisor
• Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have been gone at least 6 months to be eligible to return as a traveler
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
