Travel OR RN - Scrub/Circulate - $2,378 per week

Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for OR - Operating Room in Windsor, Vermont. Start date 09/28/2026, duration 20 weeks, 32 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (07:00–15:30).

About the Role

This is a Registered Nurse (RN) – OR Scrub/Circulate position with a 32-hour guarantee. The Clinical Nurse serves as a vital member of the surgical team, functioning in both circulating and scrubbing roles. Care is delivered across general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain management, and endoscopy, primarily in an outpatient setting with limited inpatient care. The Surgical Services department includes 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room, serving adults and geriatric patients ages 16 and older.

Schedule

• 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Weekend call: 1 weekend per month, with a 1-hour callback time
• Weekday on-call: 2–3 days per week, with a 1-hour callback time

Requirements

• Mandatory cataract experience
• Minimum 2–5 years of nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience in both scrubbing and circulating roles
• Experience in a smaller operating room facility
• Phase I/PACU experience required
• Experience with multiple surgical procedures
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• BSN degree preferred
• Must have a personal vehicle (public transport is unavailable in the area)

Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
