Travel OR RN - Scrub/Circulate - $2,341 per week

About the role

Modern Healthcare Solutions seeks a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Windsor, Vermont. The assignment begins 10/26/2026, lasts 13 weeks, and guarantees 32 hours per week. The Clinical Nurse is a vital member of the surgical team, responsible for both circulating and scrubbing roles. Services include general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain management, and endoscopy, primarily outpatient procedures with limited inpatient care. The Surgical Services department features two operating rooms and one procedure room serving adult and geriatric patients aged 16 and older.

Responsibilities

• Perform both circulating and scrubbing roles in the operating room.
• Provide specialized nursing care across general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain management, and endoscopy procedures.
• Support outpatient surgical services with limited inpatient care.
• Work in a facility with two operating rooms and one procedure room serving adult and geriatric patients (age 16+).

Requirements

• Mandatory cataract experience.
• Minimum of 2‑5 years of nursing experience.
• Demonstrated experience in both scrubbing and circulating roles.
• Experience in a smaller operating room facility.
• Phase I/PACU experience required.
• Experience with multiple surgical procedures.
• Proficiency with the Cerner EMR system.
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation (public transport unavailable).
• Must comply with attendance policies; requested time off must be communicated in advance and can only be accepted during application submission.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred.
• Travel experience highly preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
