About the role

Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse position at a Level 1 Trauma center. Assignment length is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, primarily night shifts (4x10, scheduled between 1900-0700). Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrub and OR Circulator
• Float as required by facility
• On-call duties (average 5 or fewer calls per 8 weeks, any scheduled day)
• Adhere to facility weekend hour requirements

Requirements

• Current RN License (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• BLS certification from AHA only
• 2 years of Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience (teaching hospital experience considered)
• Scrub and OR Circulator experience

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: Main 22, ASC 8, Ortho 10
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: Various kinds, including DaVinci Robot
• EMR: EPIC
• Patient Types: Outpatient to critical care inpatient

Hiring Profile

• Must-have: 2 years Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience (teaching hospital experience accepted), Scrub and OR Circulator experience
• Preferred: Level 1 trauma with multiple years of experience
• Personality Fit: Highly motivated self-starter
