There are 2 booked rooms and 1 dedicated trauma room overnight. Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, OR Experience: 2 years Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted) Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA Denver Health OR – Level I Trauma Experience Criteria To meet Denver Health's OR experience requirements, clinicians must meet one of the following pathways: 2+ years of Level I trauma experience ? Meets Level I experience requirement. Less than 2 years of Level I experience ? Level I experience must have been within the last 1 year. Currently/recently working at a Level II facility ? May be considered if the clinician also has Level I experience within the last 1 year. Key screening point: Level II experience alone does not meet the requirement. For clinicians with less than two total years of Level I experience, their Level I experience must be within the past year.Level 1 trauma experience (2 years at a level 1) GYN, Spine, Hands, Neuro, Ortho, Oncological Breast, Microvascular cases ST: NBSTSA ONLY - no other certifications will be accepted & DORA is required - Says application is 15-30 mins and can take a few days to 1-2 weeks if everything is completed. Background checks are what makes it take longer. Costs about $85 and background and fingerprints $40-60 depending on the vendor. Renews every year.
