About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assist in the preparation of operating rooms for surgery
• Monitor patients during and after surgery
• Ensure sterility and safety protocols are followed
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in OR setting preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills
• Passion for travel nursing

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Knowledgeable in surgical techniques and procedures
