Patient Ratios 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Required Skills Extensive experience in the following areas: Trauma (excluding burns) Neuro General Surgery Vascular (including endovascular procedures) ENT Orthopedic spine Orthopedics (must have total joint experience) Gynecology Urology Robotics (both General and Neuro) Plastics Breast surgery Ophthalmology Registered Nurse will be required to circulate in the operating room. Preferable experience with robotic systems (Mazor / DaVinci XI). Candidates for Orthopedic RN positions must also have proficiency with vascular cases, as Orthopedics backs up vascular procedures. Required Certifications ACLS BLS Support on the Unit Operating Room Assistant (ORA) Desk Assistant Charge Nurse Team Leaders for Service Lines Technology and Equipment Electronic Medical Records: Cerner IV Pumps: Plum 360 Medication Dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Spacelabs Orientation Two weeks of orientation on day shift, with an expectation to take buddy call during this period. Scheduling Weekend rotation required, including on-call duties On-call Schedule: One weekday (Friday 3 PM - 7 AM) One weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday 24 hours) 30-minute response time for on-call duties Holiday work is expected as per contract Requests for time off must go through management approval The schedule cycle is determined by departmental needs Other Notes Scrub Color: Green (provided) Parking: Parking deck available for staff Thrive Staffing Job ID #19186164.
