Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,910 per week

About the role

Operating Room (OR) Nurse, Urology, located in Milwaukee, WI. Oversees patient care during urological procedures, including TURP, TURBT, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and prostate biopsies. Responsible for ensuring patient safety, assisting physicians, and maintaining documentation within a busy, Level III Trauma Center environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care during urological procedures
• Ensure patient safety and assist physicians
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Perform outpatient procedures such as vasectomies, catheter changes, cystoscopies, ureteroscopy, clot evacuations, and stent placements/removals
• Document pain levels before and after medication administration per pain score protocols
• Follow facility fatigue policy limiting weekly work hours to 60 hours

Requirements

• RN certification with BLS
• Experience with urological patient types, consents, positioning, prep, documentation, patient check‑ins, and patient transport to/from procedural rooms
• Ability to perform catheter changes under local sedation

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week; includes weekend rotation (every 5th weekend for RNs), on-call duties, holiday work, and potential to float to main operating room after
