Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,910 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team in a Level I Trauma facility. The individual will be responsible for assisting in surgical operations by preparing and organizing the necessary instruments and supplies, as well as providing support to the surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile field and instruments.
• Aid in patient positioning and draping.
• Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning and prepared for use.
• Complete relevant charting and documentation in the Epic system.
• Floater among Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, Jefferson Methodist Hospital, and Honickman Center.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technician experience, with a focus on cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomy, and spinal cases.
• Level I Trauma certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with orthopedic fractures is a plus.

Qualifications

First-time travelers will be accepted with appropriate experience.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM
