Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $1,910 per week

Job Summary

The position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within the OR department on a full-time basis. The role requires supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team during night shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• 0+ years of experience in surgical or operating room nursing
• Located in Oklahoma or willing to relocate to Ardmore, OK

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience with surgical patient care, including orthopedic, urological, and gastrointestinal procedures
• Friendly, outgoing, team-oriented personality
• Flexible and adaptable team player
• Scrub color: black
• Float to other med/surg departments as needed, if applicable

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1-April 1 (declinations/exceptions not accepted)
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:6
• Equipment includes remote telemonitoring by ICU
• EMR system used is EPIC

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
