Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,885 per week

Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing perioperative care in a Level 1 trauma center, supporting a high-volume surgical unit. The position requires flexibility for rotating shifts, including evenings, with a focus on trauma, neuro, orthopedics, and cardiac cases.

Schedule

• Rotating shifts averaging 10 hours per day
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Shift examples: 9A-7P, 9A-9P, 11A-9P, 11A-11P
• Call responsibilities equivalent to permanent staff, with responses required within 45 minutes
• Self-scheduling permitted within reason; block scheduling not guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care in a Level 1 trauma center
• Support a high-volume surgical unit with a focus on trauma, neuro, orthopedics, and cardiac cases
• Scrubbing is not required but considered a bonus

Requirements

• BLS certification
• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
• Experience in operating room or perioperative nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center
• Neuro, ortho, and trauma case experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
