Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,779 per week

About the role
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. This 13-week contract position offers the opportunity to work in a large healthcare facility, focusing on trauma care and a variety of surgical cases. The ideal candidate will be prepared to fulfill call requirements and collaborate within a supportive environment.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Must be flexible with scheduling to meet unit and patient care needs
- On-call rotation required, including weekday call and 24-hour call periods
Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
- Assist in all surgical specialties except CVOR cases (general, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap cases, trauma, thoracic, and vascular)
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document patient care within the EMR system (EPIC)
- Provide circulate and scrub skills
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Operating Room nursing
- Prior travel experience required
- Experience in large trauma level 1 facilities preferred
- EPIC experience required within the past 2 years
