Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,775 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse for an Operating Room position in Albany, New York.

About the role

The Operating Room (OR) Nurse provides specialized perioperative care within the surgical suite, supporting a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Support cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team in high-pressure settings.
• May involve on-call requirements.

Requirements

• Valid NY state nursing license.
• Certification as an OR Nurse or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant OR experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 08/24/2026.
• Day shifts, 10 hours per day.
• 40 hours per week.
