About the Role

Travel nurse RN specializing in Operating Room (OR) position in Alpine, Texas. Start date ASAP, 13‑week contract, 40 hours per week, travel employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely setup and availability of supplies for surgical procedures.
• Maintain communication with families regarding patient care and surgery updates.
• Update physician preference cards as needed.
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room.

Requirements

At least 2 years of OR nursing experience; prior travel experience required; local candidates not accepted.

Current Texas or multistate RN license; BLS, ALS, PALS certifications.

Schedule

Shift: 06:00‑15:00 (8‑hour day shift). Call required 1‑2 weeks per month.
