Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,550 per week

An Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is available in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This role involves supporting surgical procedures within an acute care setting, with a focus on orthopedic cases among others.

Responsibilities

• Support surgical procedures in an acute care operating room environment
• Work 10-hour shifts Monday to Friday from 0830 to 1900, with variable days off
• Provide call coverage, including a minimum of four weekday calls, one Friday, and one weekend (Saturday or Sunday) per six weeks
• Schedule surgeries and support clinical workflows
• Respond to call within a minimum of 30 minutes
• Adhere to cancellation policy: four shifts per contract unless under 13 weeks, then three shifts
• Float rotation may be required to support West Campus
• Use Cerner electronic charting system

Requirements

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operating room nursing
• Licensed to practice in Arizona; willing to wait for license submission
• Wear navy blue hospital scrubs for scrub duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong orthopedic experience
• Scrub experience preferred but not required
• Charge nurse or house supervisor experience a plus
• Minimum of one year of experience as an OR technician

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, days (0830 to 1900)
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week duration starting 09/08/2026
• Variable days off; call and weekend shifts required
