About the role
Reliant Staffing Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Gardner, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
- Ensure sterile technique and patient safety
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Pass required certifications (ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, ATT)
- Additional certifications (CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, NIHSS, STABLE, ASLS, NBCSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, C-EFM) may be required depending on the facility
- Dialysis certifications (CCHT, BONENT) may be required depending on the facility
Qualifications
- At least one year of relevant clinical experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and documentation
